American pop sensation, Justin Bieber, has had an amazing year. He has won countless music awards, dropped his new album ‘Purpose’ and he has three songs which are considered one of the best songs of 2015 – What Do You Mean, Sorry and Where Are Ü Now. Now, the singer has chosen the Ed Sheeran-penned ‘Love Yourself’ as the third single off Purpose.
Justin did the right thing choosing a ballad as the next single and the world has already reacted positively to the single choice. The track recently peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 and at number one on the UK and Australia’s official chart. The song is different and something unique from Justin. There is a guitar riff that carries the track and, although simple, the song makes quite an impact as it’s driven mostly by Justin’s vocals. There is something special about the song. It’s a blend of soul, R&B and pop with heart, emotion and a message.
“It’s definitely about someone in my past, someone who I don’t want to put on blast. It’s a cool song because so many people can resonate with that because how many women do we bring back that mom doesn’t really necessarily like,” Justin said on the song. We have been playing this song on repeat since the singer released his latest album so we’re thrilled we’re going to be hearing a lot more of this song.
