Tyla Announces 34-Date ‘A*POP World Tour’ With South African Shows Scheduled For Early January 2027

Tyla is taking ‘A*POP’ global. Fresh off the release of her highly anticipated second studio album, the South African superstar has announced the details of her 34-date global ‘A*POP World Tour’, which will see the Grammy Award-winning artist bring her amapiano-infused pop sound to fans across Europe, the UK and Africa.

Presented by Live Nation, the tour kicks off on 12 October in Paris at Zenith, before travelling through Europe and the UK, with stops including Amsterdam, London, Brussels and Stockholm.

Tyla will then return to Africa for a run of highly anticipated performances, including a 22 December show in Lagos, Nigeria, followed by two homecoming dates in South Africa.

The singer will perform at Green Point Track in Cape Town on 4 January, before heading to Johannesburg for a show at the Expo Centre, Nasrec, on 9 January.

For South African fans hoping to secure tickets, exclusive presale access opens on Wednesday, 29 July at 10:00 SAST, with general ticket sales following on Friday, 31 July at 10:00 SAST exclusively via Howler.

The tour announcement arrives just days after Tyla released ‘A*POP’, her 14-track sophomore album and one of the year’s most anticipated pop releases. The project, which has been teased by the singer for more than a year, features the previously released tracks ‘CHANEL’, ‘IS IT’, ‘SHE DID IT AGAIN’ and ‘IS IT LOVE’, further cementing Tyla’s position at the forefront of a new generation of globally minded African pop stars.

The album sees Tyla continuing to build on the sound that has made her one of South Africa’s biggest musical exports, blending amapiano, R&B, pop and dance influences into a sound that feels distinctly her own.

Now, with ‘THE A*POP WORLD TOUR’, Tyla is taking that sound to some of the world’s biggest stages — and, most importantly for her home audience, bringing the celebration back to South Africa.
