It’s been a hot minute since we’ve heard some new music from Michael Lowman. The singer made the big move to New York City just before lockdown and has been making the most out of this massive life moment. However, after months of radio silence, the singer has released a special collection of demos with the world as he drops his new project ‘The Hurt Demos’.
When asked about the project, Michael tells us “Here’s the deal: I wrote a lot of songs back in 2018, most of which won’t ever make it out of my moleskin.. but I did end up tracking a few of them while I was in London last year – acoustic demos for something that might have been – songs from a time I wasn’t quite myself.”
He adds “I was never going to release them as such, but every time I listen back, I wish I’d have let them go sooner – so I’ve done just that: ‘The Hurt Demos’ are now streaming everywhere. Give them a spin and know that I feel incredibly lucky to be able to be this vulnerable with you & feel nothing but comfort.”
While these demos won’t be anything more, we’re hoping that Michael gets back in the studio ASAP and blesses us with even more music because, honestly, his presence has been missed in the local pop space.
