Good Hope FM has unveiled its 2026 on-air line-up. With only a handful of strategic updates, the new line-up strengthens Good Hope FM’s position as the city’s most authentic lifestyle companion – balancing heritage, personality, a mission to change people’s lives for the better and a captivating, fresh energy across the week.
This year sees the welcome return of Mishka Loesch to The Roger Goode Breakfast Show, weekdays from 06h00 to 09h00, after some quality time with her newborn and family. Her familiar voice on news and traffic brings back a listener favourite and restores the full chemistry of Cape Town’s most dynamic breakfast team.
Afternoons
also get a boost as familiar face and voice, Morgan Newman, rejoins The Great Drive, weekdays from 15h00 to 18h00, as the new sport presenter, adding sharp insight and a distinctly Cape Town sporting pulse to the show.
Weekday evenings introduce a major highlight: Stephanie Be returns to Good Hope FM from 6 April after her 13-year stint at 5FM, taking over Late Nights with Stephanie Be, Mondays to Thursdays from 21h00 to 00h00. A smooth, on-trend, modern late-night space blending chilled music, thought-provoking conversation and the unmistakable energy that is Stephanie Be – the perfect chilling partner for unwinding, reflecting and reconnecting after a long day.
Sundays also welcome a refreshed voice as Michaela Muller moves into her new show, After Hours with Michaela Muller, Sundays from 22h00 to 01h00. A chilled, late night session of hot topics from the weekend, inspiration for the week ahead, relaxed beats and the softer side of Cape Town’s soundscape, crafted for listeners turning the page on a new and successful week.
Saturday mornings see Lorenzo Darries stepping in as the new producer for Play-By-Play, the sport show hosted by Morgan Newman from 08h00 to 09h00, strengthening the station’s weekend sports offering with sharper production and deeper local insight.
