It seems like Justin Bieber’s ‘Justice’ era is far from over. Today, the pop star released The Complete Edition of ‘Justice’ featuring three brand-new tracks, including a love song to his wife Hailey. However, it’s fan-favourite ‘Ghost’ which is being served as the latest single off the project.
The track’s official music video premiered just hours ago with popular actress Diane Keaton serving as Justin’s muse and grandmother in the emotional clip.
The Colin Tilley-directed clip opens on the death of his grandfather. While grief never completely goes away, the grandmother and grandson find ways to connect and rediscover joy, hanging out on a scenic beach and toasting and dancing at a bar. Life goes on as he encourages her to date again.
Justin hand-picked the actress to star alongside him in the video and she was thrilled to play her part here. “He called me up and I said, ‘yeah, sure,’” Keaton tells Vogue. “I thought the song was wonderful.”
She adds that she enjoyed the more fluid approach to acting for her first music video. “This was just sheer fun,” says Keaton. “All my life, I’ve been an actress and had lines, and sometimes I’ve gotten to loosen them up a little—but this was just completely loose and relaxed. Nobody ever [told me to do] anything, which made it so much fun.”
