She’s easily one of the most exciting new faces in the local pop space and after signing a record deal with Warner Music South Africa at the end of last year, Tyler Page drops her first single with the label, a catchy bop about a summer love titled ‘WAGMI’.
The title is an acronym for ‘We Are Gonna Make It’ and is a sweet farewell to summer as we enjoy the last the season has to offer. The 19 year old Capetonian has a voice that is mature but still embodies a playful youthfulness that captures the feeling behind this song.
“The song is about a holiday romance that has the potential to become something much more. Believing and hoping that this love will survive once the holiday is over,” Tyler tells us.
She adds “I can’t even tell you. I have never felt so much love for a project as I do for this one. I hope you feel what I feel. Anyway I’m so excited and nervous, please take care of this project, it means the world to me.”
