She may only be 19 years old, but Tyler Page has already made a significant impact on the local pop scene. She’s released three singles, ‘Don’t Believe The Aliens’, ‘Kill All The Heroes’ and her just-released hit ‘Teenage Werewolf’ all of which showcased her incredible talent and storytelling ability. Now, she’s taking her career to the next level as she inks a recording contract with Warner Music South Africa.
“It took me under a minute to know that I wanted to sign Tyler, from the moment I heard her voice, I was blown away by her sheer talent and power,” Warner Music South Africa Creative Lead Garth Brown says of the signing.
He adds “Every time I thought I couldn’t be any more captured by a voice, I’d find something different, from her tone, control and range that would send shivers down my spine. I believe that the world awaits her, and it’s an honour for WMSA to be a part of this journey”
Naturally, Tyler is thrilled about this new chapter in her career. “This literally feels like my dream is finally coming true,” she says. “I’m so excited to work with Warner Music SA. I am ecstatic about this!”
“I honestly feel so grateful at the moment and so blessed right now. To be able to sign with a label like this is so exciting and to be recognised like this feels beyond amazing,” Tyer continues. “Thank you Warner family for believing in me and seeing greatness in me.”
Taylor is expected to drop new music next year.
