Taylor Swift’s ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’ Sees The Star Elevate An Already Classic Record

It’s the second in the superstar’s promised series of re-recorded albums and Taylor Swift has done the unthinkable as she makes her classic 2012 album even better.

The decision to record her previous material came after Scooter Braun’s Ithaca Holdings acquired Big Machine Label Group, along with all of Swift’s early masters, in 2019. Now, Taylor’s Version of ‘Red’ is finally here.

The original ‘Red’ was released in October 2012 and includes the hit singles ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,’ ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ and the catchy title track. On the re-recorded project Taylor features the original 16 tracks as well as 14 additional songs – including features from Chris Stapleton, Ed Sheeran and Phoebe Bridgers which are included on the “From the Vault” tracks.

Fans are also getting the long-awaited 10-minute version of the fan favorite “All Too Well.” In fact, Taylor is celebrating the release of the project with a short film starring Dylan O’Brien (The Maze Runner, Love and Monsters) and Sadie Sink (Stranger Things, Fear Street).

Red (Taylor’s Version’) follows the April release of ‘Fearless (Taylor’s Version)’, which shot straight to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

While it is unclear which album Swift will release next, fans are following the star’s bread-crumb clues to 2014’s 1989 being her next rerecorded release.
