The most beautiful action film ever!
Starring: Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron
Plot: An apocalyptic story set in the furthest reaches of our planet, in a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, and almost everyone is crazed fighting for the necessities of life. Within this world exist two rebels on the run who just might be able to restore order. There’s Max, a man of action and a man of few words, who seeks peace of mind following the loss of his wife and child in the aftermath of the chaos. And Furiosa, a woman of action and a woman who believes her path to survival may be achieved if she can make it across the desert back to her childhood homeland.
Remarks: This is one of the most beautiful films I have seen in a very long time. The amount of money pushed into this film must have been enormous and you can see it. The desert scenes are exquisite and are so visually appealing. Charlize is also a phenomenal actress. She is so strong and powerful in this film in her role as Furiosa and steals the shine in this film. If you’re looking for action, this will be one of the best films you will see this year. There is literally non-stop action from start to finish and you will find yourself at the edge of your seat throughout the whole movie. The one thing that troubled me was that, for a Mad Max virgin like myself, I struggled to follow what was going on in the first 45 minutes or so of the film which was kind of annoying. This is one of the most anticipated films of 2015 and I can totally understand why!
