It’s been five years since Idols South Africa star Mark Haze dropped his last studio album but the singer is ready to step back into the spotlight as he drops his brand-new single ‘Monster’. The track serves as the lead single off the singer’s upcoming album ‘Authentic’ – his highly-anticipated musical return.
As expected, the star blends his love for rock and roll with pop undertones and a roaring chorus to create a song with a lot of heart. “The song is about the dark and light side in every person. The people that we are with, can sometimes bring that out in us and sometimes that’s what you want and need. Somehow the bad things in life can lead to the good things in life,” Mark says of the track.
Back in 2011, Mark was the runner-up in ‘Idols South Africa’, which assisted him in securing a record deal with Universal Music SA for the release of ‘Where Angels Fear to Fly’. Now, he’s ready for his next musical chapter.
