If you don’t know by now, I’m a sucker for doughnuts. It’s easily one of my favourite sweet treats so, naturally, I was thrilled when Krispy Kreme arrived in South Africa. Since their launch in November 2015, the brand and I shared some beautiful, delicious times together. Besides their usual doughnut offerings, the brand often celebrates certain events with limited edition doughnut releases. This year, we have already had a Valentines Day and Power Rangers range and now, the group is getting ready for Easter with some special offerings on sale.

So, what can we expect from the selection of limited edition doughnuts? Well, you can now get an Easter Egg which is a chocolate iced custard shell decorated with pastel coloured iced drizzle. The Lil Chick is a shell doughnut filled with delicious Vanilla Kreme and decorated with 100’s and 1000’s and a cute little chick face. The Yellow Sprinkles is a chocolate iced ring sprinkled with yellow sprinkles giving the doughnut some Easter cheer. The Egg Nest
is an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in a pastel coloured vanilla icing, decorated with speckled candy coated chocolate eggs, held in place with white Kreme to truly represent a bird’s nest.
Krispy Kreme have also created a Limited Time Strawberry Nesquik Chiller topped with whipped cream and some sprinkles to give it some extra flair.
The limited edition Easter range is available now at all Krispy Kreme stores across the country and will be on sale until the 17th of April 2017. If this isn’t the perfect way to celebrate Easter then I don’t know what is!
