Earlier this week, Forbes released a report which revealed that South African comedian Trevor Noah made over R430 million over the past 12 months. While the star made his cash through various projects including his day job as ‘The Daily Show’ host, it was his wildly successful 70-date world tour which helped him bring the bulk of his earnings.
The comedian is currently on his ‘Loud & Clear’ world tour which has seen him visit countries like the United States, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and many more and it’s been the star’s most successful tour to date.
Apart from the tour, Trevor has also released his bestselling autobiography ‘Born A Crime’ back in 2016 – and it’s still helping him bring in a lot of money. Trevor’s second Netflix special ‘Son Of Patricia’ also helped the star bring in heaps of money.
All earnings estimates are from 1 June 2018 to 1 June 2019. Figures are pretax; fees for agents, managers and lawyers are not deducted. Earnings estimates are based on data from Pollstar Pro as well as interviews with industry insiders.
Trevor’s earnings are expected to increase year on year. The star has some exciting new projects lined up for the next 12 months and is signed to host the ‘The Daily Show’ until 2022.
