She’s been teasing this video for close to two weeks now dropping posters of the tons of guest stars and now, Taylor Swift has finally dropped the video to her new single ‘Bad Blood’. The single edit features the guest vocals of Kendrick Lamar and is one of the first times Taylor has collaborated with a rapper.
The video is everything I thought it would be! Beautifully shot, exquisite special effects and the guest cast really rocks it. I thought it would be difficult to have all these characters in the video for four minutes, and sure only Selena Gomez features prominently, but it works and Taylor delivered her best music video yet.
This version features Kendrick Lamar and, to be honest, I feel like he rapped for too long on this version, causing Taylor to leave out some of her verses. I wasn’t sure that ‘Bad Blood’ was going to be a good choice for Taylor, and I still wish she chose ‘Wildest Dreams’ as the new single, but after this epic video, I’m sure it will be another huge hit for her.
