Producer Justin Vega admits that he has always had a passion for Afrikaans music. While he admits that English is his spoken language, Afrikaans will always be in his heart as his father comes from an Afrikaans family. So, he was always surrounded by Afrikaans music. This is one of the reasons the producer has been creating Afrikaans music.
For his latest release, Justin Vega is joining forces with Early B for a new banger titled ‘Ses Jagers’. This isn’t the first time Justin and Early B have worked together. The duo previously joined forces with Jack Parow on ‘Potte’ and now, they’re making waves yet again.
‘Ses Jagers’ is one of Justin’s proudest creations, showing how far he come in the music scene. “It’s a great feeling I can’t describe” Justin tells us.
He adds “I initially had the song just as an instrumental, Early B heard me playing a loop before one of our shows and he said ‘Justin, who made that!’ I told him it was me and it the ideas just started rolling to put lyrics over it. I chose the track because I want people to have that feel good vibe again after what we all have been going through and still going through with the pandemic. Even if you just party at home, braai with friends. We want you to have a great time while this song plays.”
Justin and Early B premiered the song alongside it’s official music video this week and the response has been great so far. “The music video is based in an underground parking lot, with the restrictions we wanted to embrace that you don’t need a crowd to party, just your friends and great music to have a vibe,” Justin continues.
