Believe it or not, but it’s been over four years since Justin Timberlake released ‘The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2’ and today, the pop star announced that he’s releasing a new album – and it’s coming sooner than you think! In a one-minute clip posted to the singer’s social media platforms, Justin Timberlake announced that his new album is titled ‘Man Of The Woods’ and releases everywhere on the 2nd of February 2018.
“This album is really inspired by my son, my wife, my family, but more so than any other album I’ve ever written, where I’m from. And it’s personal,” Justin says in the video. “It feels so earthy,” he says. “It’s just where you are in your life right now.” The clip also hints at a collaboration with Pharrell Williams as the star is also seen in the video stating that a song they’ve been working on is a “smash”.
However, new music from the star is coming as early as this week! Justin is expected to release the album’s lead single this Friday alongside the pre-order for the album. The February 2 release date is the perfect choice as the star has been announced as the official Superbowl halftime performer and will be taking to the major stage on February 4. This means that the star could be performing a mixture of new and older material in what is expected to be one of his greatest performances ever.
