Juanita Du Plessis is one of the most successful South African musicians in history. In fact, she’s dropped over 30 studio albums and sold millions of copies over two decades. As her star continues to shine, she has groomed her children Franja Du Plessis and Ruan Josh to follow in her footsteps and their careers, albeit short (so far), have already proven that the Du Plessis touch runs deep through their veins as well.
Now, the trio has teamed up for the very first time as they release ‘Sing Country’ – a rerecorded collection of some of their favourite country classics. The album features 11 incredible new tracks, including ‘What Would Dolly Do (WWDD)’, the lead single off the project.
The English record also features ‘She’s Mine’, ‘Try Everything’, ‘Only Jesus’ and the trio’s version of the Hanson hit, ‘MMMBop’. The project does, however, feature one Afrikaans song titled ‘Trapkap’.
