It’s been a minute since local pop star Johnny Apple dropped new music. The star has had an exceptional career. After winning SA’s Got Talent, he went on to release tracks like ‘Goodbye’ and ‘Lose Control’ with dance duo Pascal & Pearce – all which became radio hits. However, his 2017 EP ‘Tabula Rasa’ was the last bit of music the star has released – until now.
Johnny is back with brand-new music three years after the release of the EP as he drops new single ‘Gotta Let Go’. The single is about the difficult decision to let someone go, despite the fact that feelings may still be in the equation.
Johnny returned to the studio over the past few months and we are looking forward to hearing what else he has been cooking up in the studio. Johnny certainly has one of the strongest voices in the local pop space so we’re glad he’s back with new music.
