Jennifer Lopez Dazzles as Host and Performer at the 2025 American Music Awards

The 2025 American Music Awards lit up Las Vegas last night, and who better to host the glitzy affair than the city’s own queen of showbiz, Jennifer Lopez? Taking over the stage at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas, J.Lo brought her signature style, swagger, and show-stopping choreography to kick off the world’s biggest fan-voted music celebration.

The 55-year-old superstar wasted no time making her mark, opening the show with a powerhouse medley of 23 of the year’s biggest tracks. Backed by a razor-sharp dance crew, Lopez tore through hit after hit in a high-octane performance that paid homage to the anthems that ruled playlists and airwaves in 2024.

She kicked things off with her own banger, Dance Again, before launching into a pulsating routine featuring Kendrick Lamar’s Squabble Up, TV Off, and Not Like Us. The dance marathon didn’t stop there—J.Lo’s setlist doubled as a who’s who of the charts, with choreography set to Doechii’s Denial Is a River, Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso, Shaboozey’s A Bar Song (Tipsy), Post Malone’s I Had Some Help, and Chappell Roan’s viral anthem Pink Pony Club.

She also took on Billie Eilish’s Birds of a Feather, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ Die With a Smile, Tinashe’s Nasty Girl, Charli XCX’s Guess, Tyler, the Creator’s Sticky, Bruno Mars and ROSÉ’s APT., Beyoncé’s Texas Hold ‘Em, Bad Bunny’s NuevaYol, Teddy Swims’ Lose Control, and more.

And in true Las Vegas fashion, the performance reached peak heat when Lopez, mid-routine to Lose Control, sent the crowd into a frenzy with a surprise kiss shared with two of her backup dancers.

“I had to kick things off by turning it up to the biggest songs of the year and dancing my heart out for all of you,” Lopez said, catching her breath after the explosive number. “But tonight, the spotlight belongs to you—because this is the world’s largest fan-voted award show, where you decide the winners.”

If there’s one thing the 2025 AMAs made clear, it’s that J.Lo hasn’t missed a beat—and she’s still got the moves to set the Strip on fire.
