American superstar Janet Jackson has announced that she, unfortunately, has to pull out of the DStv Delicious Festival after the devastating loss of her brother Tito Jackson on Saturday.
The event organisers confirmed the news in an official statement on Tuesday after fans started speculating if the star will pull out of the event after the tragic loss of her brother. Tito Jackson, who was also revered as an icon in the music industry, died after he suffered a heart attack.
While Janet will no longer perform in South Africa this weekend, organisers reveal that they have been hard at work booking suitable replacements for the festival’s Saturday show.
Sunday’s show will see Grammy Award-winning artists including Jill Scott and the Soweto Gospel Choir take to the stage for what promises to be an epic day of music and food.
Fans who wish to exchange their Saturday tickets for Sunday have been advised to do so online.
