Jack Parow and Angie Oeh are two of the ultimate partystarters and it was only a matter of time before these two joined forces on a song. ‘Meisies & Partytjies’ is a song inspired by two of their favourite things: parties and girls.
The track is the third single from Parow’s album, ‘Die Evangelie van Goeie Tye’, which is being slow-released with a new single dropping on the 22nd of every month until February 2023.
““I love working with Angie; she’s great. It’s cool having something new and fresh around. She’s got such a cool style and brought good vibes to this song,” Jack Parow says of the new single.
Angie Oeh adds “It is my biggest honour to have made a song with Jack Parow and now also a music video. He is the coolest dude and to perform with him at Liefde by die Dam is the highlight of my year. We love ‘meisies and partytjies’. En almal wat dieselfde like is welkom by my plek!”
To celebrate the release of the single, the duo dropped an official video for the track which features live performance clips from the Liefde By Die Dam festival in Johannesburg and the Lightning Bolt festivals in Cape Town. “We built a bed on site at Liefde by die Dam so it looks like we’re having a party in bed,” says Parow of the clip.
“Angie has never stage dived before Liefde by die Dam. It didn’t cross my mind that most kids there have never really been to big shows due to the pandemic. So, when I stage dived, I fell right on the ground because nobody caught me! After that happened, Angie didn’t want to stage dive from the stage, so she got down and stage-dived from the ground up!”
