The Supa Mega isn’t one to do things half-heartedly so when he said that he’s be back with some brand-new music, he wasn’t kidding. Over the past few weeks, AKA has released three new tracks ‘Cross My Heart’, ‘Energy’ and ‘Monuments’ and each has been accompanied by its own music video.
‘Cross My Heart’ has been a massive hit for the rapper and the music video is certainly a celebration. The star included cameos from some of his famous friends including DJ Speedsta and L-Tido.
‘Energy’, however, is about taking some much-needed time off and stepping away from the hustle and bustle of the big city to switch off and regroup. The track, which features Gemini Major, sees the duo giving us some major views as they perform in front of a beautiful mountain range.
Finally, AKA premiered the visuals for his latest single ‘Monuments’ which sees him collaborate with Yanga Chief and Grandmaster Ready D. Here, the star shows us who he is when the cameras are off and he’s just enjoying time at home. From whipping up drinks to enjoying time outside, it seems AKA is very much a homebody.
AKA continues to prove that he is as versatile as he is talented. Each track and video offers something completely different and it’s easy to see why he is one of the biggest musical acts in Mzansi today.
