El At The KCAs: Day 2

It’s always difficult going to a new place with so few days because there is no way you can actually see everything you should see. That’s what happened when I was in LA earlier this year for the E! Press junket so, again, I decided to go on another tour.

This tour took me to Rodeo Drive as well as Hollywood Boulevard – where the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame is on. Rodeo Drive is for then fashion lovers with expensive taste. The strip even plays host to the world’s most expensive store – Bijan: Designer For Men. This store charges $1,500 just to enter the store!

Hollywood Boulevard, on the other hand, is magical! It’s so cool seeing the stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for yourself. The street buzzes with many actors dressing up as Jack Sparrow to Captain America and even to Willy Wonka! I also loved the Chinese Theatre on the strip. It is so beautiful and the hand and footprints of the stars makes it feel a whole lot more read.

Back in Santa Monica, I decided to take a walk on the famous pier. I love the fact that there is a theme park on the pier. It’s exactly what you see in the movies – a whole lot of stores, food stalls and a fantastic view! After seeing those three places, I finally felt at peace with the fact that I have seen all I needed to in LA.

At the end of the day, I met up with my friend Roxy (who I met back in Poland in 2008). We dined at The Cheesecake Factory which is totally my favourite joint here in the US. I had a delicious Chicken Piccata as well as a Reeces Peanut Butter cheesecake but the thing that I keep thinking about was their avocado spring rolls. Sounds so weird but it was so delicious. During dinner, a 5,3 magnitude earthquake hit LA and Rox and I felt nothing which I was kinda bummed about 😉

It was a great way to spend the day before all the excitement of the 2014 Kids Choice Awards. Here are some pics from day 2:
