During their latest visit to South Africam Dutch group KD Soundsystem took some time to get to know the local culture and music scene. During this time, they met up with Chad Da Don and fell in love with his unique approach to African rap and the idea of collaborating quickly came about. Chad introduced the group to pop duo Locnville and together, they created the catchy new single ‘My Way’.
On the track, the artists fuse Afro Caribbean sounds together to highlight the unique properties each genre encompasses. Chad wrote some sick verses while Locnville were trusted to create a banging chorus – and boy, did they deliver! The song is unqiue which makes it entertaining to listen to. Each act brought the heat and, ultimately, ‘My Way’ is the bop we didn’t know we needed.
