Rock fans will be happy to know that American group Collective Soul will be performing shows in Johannesburg and Cape Town this February and they’re bringing Lifehouse along for the ride as well!
The group has seven number one singles under their belt including the popular singles “Shine”, “December” and “The World I Know.” The group also has a duet with Elton John, a song on the hit Twilight soundtrack, and nine acclaimed albums under their belt and they’re excited to be heading to South Africa to perform all their biggest hits for their South African fans.
“We’re an honest rock ‘n’ roll band,” affirms lead singer Ed Roland. “We’re not going to pretend like we’re something else. We’re not chasing anything. We are proud of our accomplishments and what we do. We pride ourselves on playing rock ‘n’ roll. So, let’s fucking rock.”
Like Collective Soul, Lifehouse also has an impressive career under their belt. They’re responsible for the hit singles “Hanging By A Moment,” “You and Me,” “First Time” “Whatever It Takes,” and “Halfway Gone” and promise to deliver an electrifying performance for their South African fans. The group has always had a positive response to their music in South Africa and around the world.
