Heartthrob Brendan Peyper has been on a hot streak recently. His latest singles ‘Warm Nog Op’, ‘Die Wolf’ and ‘Stop Die Wêreld Ek Wil Afklim’ have been some of his biggest hits to date and now, the superstar is giving fans even more new music as he announces his upcoming seven-track EP ‘Insomnia’ drops on 27 May.
As he celebrates the upcoming project, Brendan has premiered a new single that tugs at the heart strings. On ‘Meisies Soos Jy’, Brendan proves he’s anything but a heartbreaker. The song flips the script and sees the star get personal as he writes a heartfelt song about how a man’s heart can break just as easily as a woman’s.
The song, written from personal experience, is the most personal the singer has been on a song.
His signature raspy vocals and pop/rock elements bring Peyper’s signature sound to the ballad, which is another stellar single from the star. It’s great to see Peyper pouring his heart and soul into his music and not being afraid to be vulnerable and open with his fans. In fact, it makes for good music and we love to see it.
