South African DJ Aidin Caye, who previously went under the name That Adie, has been DJing and producing for the past four years, but after a reinvention and signing to a major label, Aidin has finally dropped his debut single and it blew our minds from the first beat! The track features Liquideep vocalist Ziyon and is a fresh sound from the local dance industry.
The deep house sound is incredibly popular at the moment and Aidin used this to his advantage. Ziyon brings his smooth vocals and blends them in beautifully to the sound created by Aidin. In fact, the track reminds me a lot of TiMO ODV’s smash hit ‘Save Me’ which is a really good thing! Lyrically, the track is simple but powerful and that’s exactly what makes a perfect pop song.
While this is Aidin’s debut single, he has spent years perfecting his craft and that’s exactly what makes good musicians great. We have had this song on repeat all day and we can’t wait to hear what’s next from the DJ.
