Exciting news, music fans! Miguel is heading back to South Africa next year.
The Grammy Award-winning American singer-songwriter, producer and actor will return to the country in May 2027 for three live shows, taking his catalogue of R&B, soul and genre-bending hits to Cape Town, Sun City and Pretoria.
The run begins at the Grand Arena at GrandWest in Cape Town on Friday, May 21, before moving to the Sun City Superbowl on Saturday, May 22. Miguel will wrap up the South African visit at SunBet Arena in Pretoria on Sunday, May 23.
Known for effortlessly moving between R&B, soul, funk, rock and alternative sounds, Miguel has spent more than a decade building one of contemporary R&B’s most distinctive catalogues. His breakthrough hit “Sure Thing” introduced him to a global audience, while releases including All I Want Is You, Kaleidoscope Dream, Wildheart, War & Leisure and Art Dealer Chic have helped establish him as one of the genre’s most versatile artists.
Fans can expect a set packed with some of Miguel’s biggest records, including “Adorn,” “Sure Thing,” “All I Want Is You,” “Do You,” “Coffee,” “How Many Drinks?” and “Skywalker,” among others.
Miguel’s ability to blend polished R&B with rock influences, soulful melodies and experimental production has made him a distinctive voice in modern music. Over the course of his career, he has collaborated with artists across genres and collected major industry recognition, including a Grammy Award.
With three dates across two provinces and Sun City, Miguel’s return is set to give South African fans the opportunity to experience one of R&B’s most recognisable voices performing his biggest hits live.
