Will Linley’s New Single ‘Wrong Time’ Proves He Means Serious Business

When Will Linley dropped his debut single ‘miss me (when you’re gone)’ in November last year, he didn’t anticipate just how well-received the song would be. The track became both a viral sensation and a radio hit and earned the star over 10 million global streams in the process, cementing the star as a new generation South African pop star. After teasing his follow-up release for weeks on TikTok, the star is finally back with new music as he premieres his new banger ‘wrong time’.

Written during a Zoom session with songwriter and producer John Samual Gerhart, “the song is about meeting the right girl at the wrong time,” notes Will. “It’s a very personal song and means a lot to me as an artist. I love the up-tempo guitar riffs and it always makes me wanna vibe out!”

To celebrate the release of the single, Will dropped a vibey video for the track shot around the streets of LA. Directed by Iris Kim (SixTwentySix Production), the video has an 80s aesthetic to it which perfectly captures the essence of the song. With an array of epic locations and styling, the video proves Will means business – and we have no doubt that ‘wrong time’ will be another massive hit for the newcomer.
