There’s an exciting new name on the local pop space as Durban-born Joss Austin drops his brand-new single ‘No Sleep’. The 24-year-old singer-songwriter is ready to embark on the next phase of his career and commands attention with his breezy new track which shows off both his vocal ability and talent as a songwriter.
“’No Sleep’ is really just a feel-good song that speaks about being lovestruck for the wrong person sometimes, but it doesn’t mean it’s not fun though,” explains Joss when delving into the theme of the song.
The song was written and recorded by Joss himself and he recalls the process, saying “It was one of those spontaneous sessions where the song really writes itself. When it’s easy, that’s when you know it’s working,”.
He adds that the response from his fans has been amazing so far. “I love my fans and everyone that supports me and listens to my music,” he continues. “Wouldn’t be here without them and I really just hope that this song puts them in a real good mood like it does for me.”
