Super-producer Benny Blanco has been on another level lately. He dropped ‘Lonely’, the Justin Beiber-assisted single which went on to become one of his biggest singles to date, as well as ‘Real Shit’ with Juice Wrld and ‘You’ with Marshmello and Vance Joy. Now, he’s stripping it down yet again for the powerful ballad ‘Unlearn’.
The track features the sweet vocals of Gracie Abrams and is all about learning to love again after being hurt in the past.
With lyrics like “Excuse my mouth but every time you run a little late, hanging with your friends, I freak the fuck out,” the song features a theme most can relate to – heartbreak.
Gracie’s soft vocal performance blended with Blanco’s subtle production allows for the emotion to pour out of the song and highlights each act’s artistry in the most incredible way.
