Ed Sheeran, one of the biggest names in pop music today, is in the middle of a hiatus as he spends time raising a new baby girl while he works on his next project. However, the star surprised fans today when he released a brand-new track titled ‘Afterglow’ – and it’s the light we needed to end off a year of darkness!
Recently unveiled as the most-streamed British artist of 2020 in the UK, Sheeran – who is currently on his well-deserved break – wrote the track with FRED (who also co-produced the track together with Ed) and David Hodges.
“Hey guys. Afterglow is a song I wrote last year that I wanted to release for you,” Ed says announcing the new track. “It’s not the first single from the next album, it’s just a song I love, and hope you love too. Enjoy ! Have a wonderful festive break and New Years. Back to dad land for me now, ciao x”
