Five New Cast Members Join The Real Housewives Of Johannesburg Season Two!

If, like us, you were obsessed with the cringeworthy first season of The Real Housewives of Johannesburg, you’re in luck! Mzansi Magic has officially greenlit the show for a second season.

Christall Kay and Brinnette Seopela are the two housewives confirmed to return from the show’s first season and season two will follow Christall as she gives us an inside look at her growing music career, making new friends and her charitable side. Meanwhile, Brinnette rebuilds and reinvents her business while builds on her other new passion – golf.

There is an array of new castmembers joining the squad this season. Welkom-born Lebo Gunguluza, who is married to a well-known businessman, Lebo Gunguluza, joins the series in season two. Lebo published The South African Music Awards (SAMA) magazine for past 5 years, and was dubbed SA’s youngest publisher. She’s currently working on another bestseller that’s set to equip women and young girls with great life tools.

We will also meet Lethabo ‘Lejoy’ Mathatho, who is hard to miss with banging blonde locks and a personality to match. Lethabo is a founder of LeJoy Foundation that is set to change lives. Lethabo is a Radio and TV presenter who studied Journalism at TUT, and has become a role model in her community on a mission to empower those less fortunate.

The third of five new castmembers is Nompumelelo “Mrs Mops” Mophatlane. She is the quintessential Housewife married to an IT mogul Isaac Mophatlane. Born in the east of Johannesburg Tsakane, Mrs Mops is a drama and theatre graduate from the University Of Witwatersrand and enjoys boxing and yoga.

Amongst the new Housewives is the worldly free-spirited, Botswana-born/UK-raised mother of 5 Mpho Merriweather. She is currently the Afropunk Project Manager and trained Jewellery Designer. She’s considered the life of a party, and promises a whole lot of entertainment. Finally, the gorgeous Tarina Patel joins the cast this year. Tarina is a Bollywood star and businesswoman. She has been in a number of Bollywood films and starred in a few South African soapies and promises to add a different dynamic to the already firey cast.

“Friday prime time television is about to get better.
