Today, Zahara announced an exciting partnership between her record label Music Lives Here Records and Warner Music South Africa. After three successful albums, the singer is ready to take her career to the next level as she signs a global deal with the record giant.
The star is working on her upcoming fourth studio album and promises that new music will be released later this year. “When Jesus says yes, nobody can say no – I am so excited to be joining the Warner Music family,” Zahara says. Meanwhile, MD of Warner Music South Africa, Tracy Fraser says, ‘Zahara is one of the most exciting artists to come out of South Africa ever and we are absolutely delighted to be part of the next chapter in her incredible career’.
Zahara broke records when she burst onto the scene with her debut album ‘Loliwe’ back in 2011. The album was certified double platinum only 17 days after release, and went on to sell in excess of 100 000 copies. Since then, her platinum streak continued garnering her 17 South African Music Awards wins. Now, the star is focusing on the future and promises this exciting partnership will see some of her best material to date.
