Idols South Africa Winners Yanga And Paxton Join Forces For ‘Catch Me’

Yanga and Paxton have both proven themselves to be exceptional artists in their own right so its only natural for us to be excited about their brand-new collaboration ‘Catch Me’.

The track brings together two former Idols SA winners – celebrating a first in the history of the coveted competition. The duo were two of the youngest winners of the competition with both Paxton and Yanga clinching the crown at just 17 years of age.

‘Catch Me’ first appeared on Yanga’s exceptional debut album ‘Promised Land’ and centres around the power of young love and being there for each other through thick or thin.

To celebrate the release of the track, the duo dropped the track’s official music video alongside the release. “I am very excited for the release of both the single and music video. I am hoping the music video creates interest and is loved by our supporters. It was also really awesome working with Paxton on the song and I hope the public is happy with the work we have put together,” Yanga says.

Paxton adds “Being a part of the ‘Catch Me’ feature was so exciting, especially working with another Idols winner because it’s never been done before! The fact that we got to do a music video in lockdown was such a blessing and so much fun to shoot!”
