Ever since AKA dropped his massive album ‘Touch My Blood’ mid last year, fans have been obsessing over the track ‘Jika’. Although the rapper has had radio success with tracks like ‘Fela In Versace’ and ‘Sweet Fire’ amongst others, fans have pushed the star to release ‘Jika’ as a single – and he’s finally given in.
The rapper has revealed that ‘Jika’ will serve as the final single off ‘Touch My Blood’ as he embarks on an exciting African tour before getting into the studio to work on new music.
In the video, AKA visits the future where he is older and wiser and madly in love. The video is beautifully shot and AKA continues to bring creativity through his music videos.
2019 is shaping up to be an exciting year for AKA. Besides the release of this new single, he will also be roasted on Comedy Central’s Roast Of AKA. Yesterday, Pearl Thusi was announced as the official roastmaster of the event which films at Montecasino on the 21st of February before premiering on 11 March on Comedy Central and 12 March on Showmax.
