Van Pletzen are known to push boundaries and not to take things too seriously when it comes to their music. So, as the group releases the official video to their new single ‘Zaberfluten’ (the fifth single off the project), you know it’s going to be entertaining.
In this short film and music video Van Pletzen and Schalk Bezuidenhout are at a lekker fish braai, but it doesn’t take long for things to go wrong. Frank Opperman also makes an appearance in his most intimidating role to date – so much so that Van Pletzen was really afraid of him!
Peach van Pletzen got the idea for Zaberfluten from a dream. “I woke up and realized how important it is that people must see this film, but first we must make it! So I phoned PJ Kotze from Bonanza Films who also made Eiland Styl and Goud and he was super keen!”
