As we head into winter, local singing sensation Tresor drops his new single ‘Last December’ which sees him reminisce on summer’s past. With a heart-warming summer love story and a vibey production to go along with it, his new single is set to heat up dance floors around the continent this winter.
Based on true events, the record recalls a once in a lifetime romance Tresor experienced in his younger years and an unyielding craving to encounter those heart-skipping moments once more, as expressed in his passionate bridge which croons, “Can we talk it over now?/Find a reason to rewind/Can we start over again?/Pick the pieces right on time.”
Reflecting on the creation of the infectious summer single, the African Pop Maverick states: “In Last December, I wanted to reminisce about a love story filled with dancing, an unexpected whirlwind romance on a very particular December a few years back. It felt like a sweet surrender,” the singer tells us. “Musically, I wanted to explore a downtempo house feel but still bring hip elements through percussions, so I had my friend Da Capo help with extra percussion.”
