Top Gear’s worst-kept secret, The Stig, is in Mzansi and to celebrate the upcoming season of the world’s most popular car show, starting Thursday 29 August at 20h00 on BBC Brit, anonymous white-suited racing drive made an appearance at the 4th annual SA Festival of Motoring at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Johannesburg this past Sunday
During his appearance, The Stig raced around the track behind the wheel of an Alfa Romeo Giulia and did some hot laps with celebrities like DJ Sabby and Kriya Gangiah. The celebs shared their experiences on social media – and it looked like the experience of a lifetime.
Series 27 of the world’s biggest motoring show will see the Stig and current host Chris Harris, being joined by England cricket legend Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff and comedian Paddy McGuinness. Fans can expect the new presenter trio to tackle the fastest, hottest, toughest Top Gear challenges to date: pushing their cars, and themselves, to the very limits of endurance.
