Local electronic group, The Kiffness, have been making us dance for over two years. Now, as they slave away in studio working on their second studio album, the duo have dropped a brand new single ‘127 Boets Per Minute’ and have tapped Bittereinder’s Jaco Van Der Merwe for the vocals.
The Kiffness are masters at producing immaculate beats – and this time is no different. The song is infectious from the first beat. The song is a club banger. It will undoubtedly be a hit in the club scene over the next few months but we’re not sure if this is the right choice for a radio single. Sure, the song is catchy, funny and different but this sounds more like an album filler than a lead single.
That being said, we’re so excited to have new music from the duo. We’re looking forward to seeing what else The Kiffness have been cooking up in the studio and who else they’re collaborating with this time around. Remember to support local music and buy this song off iTunes today!
