Marvel’s ‘Deadpool’ is easily one of the most chaotic characters in the X-Men universe and the films have enjoyed incredible success since the very first ‘Deadpool’ film was released in 2016. ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’, the third film in the franchise, premieres this week – and Marvel has just premiered a soundtrack as chaotic as the main character himself.
‘Deadpool & Wolverine: Van Jamz’ features 18 tracks from and inspired by the movie. The eclectic tracklist includes ‘The Greatest Show’ , a song Hugh Jackman features in from the popular film ‘The Greatest Showman’, Huey Lewis and the News’ ‘Back to the Future’ single “The Power of Love,” and the Merrilee Rush version of ‘Angel of the Morning,’ which first appeared (performed by Juice Newton) in the original film.
Other big-time acts making an appearance on the soundtrack include Stray Kids, *NSYNC, Fergie, Avril Lavigne, Green Day, The Goo Goo Dolls, John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.
Music has always been a very important part of the ‘Deadpool’ films and it’s great to see that the third film in the instalment is gearing up to be another musical feast for movie goers.
