The 1975 To Headline Rocking The Daisies

Get ready, South Africa! One of the world’s biggest rock acts right now are headed our way as the Rocking The Daisies festival announced today that The 1975 will be headlining this year’s festival – and we couldn’t be more excited.

The group is set to be the first international headliners announced for the upcoming festival which takes place at Cloof Wine Estate in Darling, Western Cape between the 4th and the 6th of October 2019.

This will be the first time that The 1975 will be performing in South Africa and after three successful albums, lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Matthew Healy, lead guitarist Adam Hann, bassist Ross MacDonald and drummer George Daniel can’t wait to perform their material for the first time to their South African fans. Concert goers can expect the group to play hits like ‘Sex’, ‘Chocolate’ and ‘Robbers’, all of which topped UK charts, as well as material from their recent BRIT Award-winning album ‘A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships’ – which became the group’s third number one album in the UK.

Meanwhile, the group is also preparing the release of their fourth studio album ‘Notes on a Conditional Form’, which is expected to drop in May.

Tickets for Rocking The Daisies cost R995 for the full weekend experience (price includes VAT & booking fees, camping not included). Tickets and camping available from www.RockingtheDaisies.com on 26 March.
