The Temper Trap To Headline Lush Festival

Last year, Lush Festival launched in Clarens to a fantastic response. This year, the festival is going to be bigger and better and, although only in April next year, The Temper Trap have been announced as the official 2017 headliners alongside local superstar Jeremy Loops.

The festival, which takes place on the 14 to 16 April 2017, will also feature an array of local acts such as Karen Zoid, Francois van Coke, Koos Kombuis, Fuzigish, Shortstraw, We Are Charlie, Kyle Watson and Chunda Munki. Anyone who has visited the small town of Clarens has experienced the tranquillity and beauty of its landscape as it’s nestled in the foothills of the beautiful Maluti and Rooiberg Mountains, a gorgeous setting once again for LUSH 2.0. Along with the music and entertainment hosted at the festival, activities on site will include trail runs, mountain biking, abseiling and more.

There are also a few exciting additions to LUSH 2.0. After the overwhelming response to the first festival, LUSH will have extensive camping and parking space as well as a load of other surprises. The added land incorporates four new fields all the way down to the Caledon River. The festival will once again host 3 stages with The Willows as the main stage, the dance stage located in The Woods and The Owl stage all on the festival grounds.

The Temper Trap have become one of the biggest names on the international indie pop scene. The band has just released their new album ‘Thick As Thieves’ – their first since 2012 – and will be performing a mix of both old and new tracks.

Phase 1 tickets are on sale now and offer these options:
Phase 1: General Admission [includes General Camping Area] – R495 (excl service fees)
Phase 1: Plus+ Admission [Plus+ Upgraded Camping Area] – R1195 (excl service fees)
Tickets are available at http://lush.nutickets.co.za/lushclarens2017.
