Taylor Swift’s latest album, 1989, is one of the best pop albums we have heard over the past few years. While I’m not a big fan of her current single, Bad Blood, the star has just released the music video to the fifth single off the record – a track called ‘Wildest Dreams’. When the album first dropped, I was obsessed with this song and I’m so glad that this song will see the light of day as a single.
The track is a beautiful mid-tempo ballad which tells of a heartbreaking love story in which Taylor beautifully acts out in the music video which was shot somewhere in Africa with the hunky Scott Eastwood and an array of wild animals. The track has a beautiful, delicate chorus and the bridge is bound to give anyone listening to the song goosebumps. As with all of Taylor’s videos from this era, the Wildest Dreams video is beautifully shot and I see this becoming one of the biggest songs of Taylor’s career to date!
Taylor, the superwoman that she is, is also doing some good and announced at the end of the video that all the proceeds from the video will go to wild animal conservation efforts through the African Parks Foundation of America. Well done on another brilliant song and video, Taylor!
