Spotify Calls On Black Coffee, Carl Cox And More As They Debut Co-Curated DJ Playlists ‘’track ID’s’’

Spotify has launched a new suite of playlists, “track IDs” within its Dance/Electronic Hub for existing Dance/Electronic fans looking to discover their favourite music, as well as for new listeners hoping to explore the genre.

Spotify’s new “track IDs” are co-curated playlists by the world’s leading DJs along with Spotify’s editorial team, allowing listeners to discover tracks from some of their favourite DJs. Available globally, these playlists were created in response to one of the most frequent questions DJs get asked during their sets, “track ID, anyone?”

Local DJ Black Coffee is one of the many world-renowned DJs that has partnered with Spotify to give global fans a playlist of his favourite tracks. The “track IDs” provide DJs with a platform to easily share the tracks they would play in their sets, while allowing them to connect with their fans in a way they haven’t been able to do so before.

In addition to Black Coffee, other notable DJs with “track IDs” playlists on the Dance/Electronic Hub include Aluna, Amelie Lens, Carl Cox, Dixon, DJ BORING, Ellen Allien, Gerd Janson, Green Velvet, Honey Dijon, Jayda G, Jennifer Cardini, Kamma & Masalo, Kelly Lee Owens, Marcel Dettmann, MK, Nina Kraviz, Pan-Pot, SHERELLE, Shy FX, and Todd Terry launched their playlists, which will be updated on a weekly basis. Additional playlists will be launched at a later date.

The “track IDs” can be found exclusively on Spotify linked here.
