The Kings of the Weekend, SPHEctacula and DJ Naves, are back with a new banger! The duo have just released their brand new summer anthem ‘I Do I Do’ which also serves as the duo’s first single to be released off their sophomore album scheduled for release in March 2017. The song sees the DJs team up with Zain SA (who you may remember placing third on SABC 1’s hit show 1s and 2s).
The song is a beautiful African house track with small hints of electronic music. Zain’s soulful vocal uplifts the track in a special way as well. Zain SA’s passion pours into the track making it one of the most romantic dance tracks we’ve heard in a long time. The song is about young love – something many of us can relate to. So, it’s no surprise that the song has already been dubbed “the wedding song.”
The dynamic duo met Zain SA on the set of ‘1s and 2s’ where the singer auditioned with the original version of the track. SPHEctacula, DJ Naves and Micasa’s Dr Duda then added their own flavour to I Do I Do which is written, sung and partly produced by Zain SA. The song is the duo’s first since splitting with Universal Music and has now made the decision to be fully independent and will release this song under their own record label Eminence Productions.
