If you’ve got your tickets to Bastille’s upcoming South African tour this October, you’ll be thrilled to know that an array of South Africa’s greatest pop acts will be opening for the band in the respective outdoor concerts happening in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.
The main supporting act comes in the form of Matthew Mole. The star will be performing at all three of the band’s South African dates and promises to deliver another world-class performance. Matthew has been known for his strong, interactive live performance and with an array of sing-a-long pop bangers and beautiful ballads, Matthew is undoubtedly a perfect opening act for the British pop group.
Concert goers in Cape Town and Johannesburg will have the pleasure of watching up-and-coming pop group Opposite The Other as well. The group did a fantastic job opening for The Lumineers during their recent South African leg of the Cleopatra World Tour and are ready to bring the heat yet again! The group will perform fan-favourites ‘Stutter Love’ and ‘My Body Moves’ and promise an exciting collection of tracks as well.
Finally, those attending the Johannesburg and Durban shows will be wowed by the pop sensation that is Tresor. The singer has just released his second studio album ‘The Beautiful Madness’ and has become one of South Africa’s biggest crossover artists. With hits such as ‘Remedy’, ‘Never Let Me G’’, ‘Mount Everest’, ‘Evergreen’ and ‘Zambezi’ under his belt, you know his set is destined for greatness.
Lastly, Johannesburg is also set to be wowed by Monark. The pop group has just released their self-titled second studio album and the record’s lead single ‘Broken’ has become one of the most successful pop songs of 2017 so far.
Rugby fans in Johannesburg will also be pleased to know that the big screens, bars and food vendors will all remain for the big Test match between New Zealand and South Africa.
Tickets for the concert are still available at Webtickets.co.za from just R350.
