There have been so many festivals and sport events happening in and around Johannesburg lately that brands are looking to do things differently. Bounce, for example, has done a perfect job of finding a gap in the market and SlideJozi is bound to do just the same. I mean, who doesn’t want to slide down a 300 metre slide down Sandton’s famous West Street?
SlideJozi will bring a day of fun to kids 6 and up, will allow ticket holders two slides on the huge water slide which will start at the top of West Street heading towards Rivonia road and come to an end by safely stopping in a pool of water. The event will also host an entertainment section with live music, a beer garden (over 18s only) and a food court so the fun doesn’t have to stop after your slide.
Sliding times will be broken down in four slots allowing people to the pick the time slot they would like to experience the slide of their life and buy tickets accordingly. Tickets will also be on sale for unlimited slides throughout the day and there will be spectator tickets on sale for the few who prefer not to brave the slide.
