Local indie pop band Shortstraw has been doing amazing things for the local music industry. The band’s new album ‘Youthless’ is their best yet and the boys have just dropped the music video to their new single ‘Say Anything’ – another catchy track that’s bound to become a smash hit.
The track has that old school pop/rock sound of bands in the 90’s such as Good Charlotte and Blink 182. Despite the bridge which we’re not so fond of, we have not been able to get this track out of our head all day! The instrumentals on the song have been recorded beautifully and there’s a really great message to the track.
The band have also invested in a kick-ass video for the track which has an unexpected, disturbing twist towards the end. The band has a brilliant energy when performing live and now that we’ve learned the lyrics to this track, we can’t wait to jam out to this at their next show. The band have grown a lot since their start and its music like this that brings joy to our hearts. Support local music and buy the track off iTunes today!
