Sam Smith is back! Just as I thought he would finally close the chapter (single wise) on his debut album ‘In The Lonely Hour’, the British singer-songwriter has decided to add vocals by John Legend to his latest smash ‘Lay Me Down’. The power ballad has a video for the solo version but John ad Sam joined forces in order to raise funds for Red Nose Day – a British charity The song is so powerful and beautiful and John adds a brilliant aspect to the track. Sam is no stranger to remix collaborations and added vocals from Mary J. Blige in smash hit “Stay With Me“, and A$AP Rocky on “I’m Not the Only One”. Check out the official video below.

For some reason, I have a bad knee-jerk reaction to SS, watched it because “John adds a brilliant aspect to the track” and Red Nose. Vocals are really good but the song doesn’t do much for me.
