They’re dropping their highly-anticipated third studio album ‘Toast To Our Differences’ this Friday and Rudimental have already crafted one of the most anticipated albums of the year. The record boasts the smash hits ‘Sun Comes Up’ with James Arthur, ‘These Days’ with Jess Glynne and Macklemore, ‘Let Me Live’ with Major Lazer and Anne-Marie and the new hit ‘Scared Of Love’ with Stefflon Don and Ray BLK and now, they’re bringing their new music to South African fans as the group announces that they will be playing two shows in the country this April.
Rudimental have fast-become one of the most eclectic acts in the international music space right now. The genre-defying, multi-cultural collective boast world-conquering stats and have accumulated over 1.4 billion global streams, 20 million single sales, 40 platinum awards, 700 million YouTube views and a global audience of 1.5 million+ across their social platforms.
Last year, the group released a string of hits which cemented their place as one of the biggest acts from the UK today. The international success has been incredible and South African fans have received the group’s music with open arms. So much so that the group is incredibly excited to visit the country this year.
Rudimental will play in Pretoria on the 3rd of April at the Sun Arena in Pretoria before heading down to Cape Town on the 5th of April where they will play at the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden.
“South Africa has a special place in our hearts,” enthused the band. “We’re so excited to come back in April. Let’s have a party!” The group visited the country last year with Major Lazer and Anne-Marie to shoot the music video for their smash hit ‘Let Me Live’ – a song which featured additional vocals from the incomparable, five-time Grammy-winning, Ladysmith Black Mambazo.
